Job summary

Totara is seeking an Operations PMO Lead to manage a small, globally distributed team of Project Managers across the UK, Australia, and the US. You will personally own and drive a portfolio of operational, systems, and change projects, delivering them from scoping through BAU handover.

You will lead by example, coaching peers while maintaining high standards, supporting capacity planning, and embedding continuous improvement across functions. This role reports to the COO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• PM certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL) advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own and run a portfolio of operational, systems, and change projects from scoping through BAU handover.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and stakeholder reporting.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies with proactive escalation when needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to align scope and delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure timely delivery with clear ownership and structured handovers to BAU.
• Lead and mentor a small, globally distributed PMO team to uphold high standards.
