Expert Employment Limited seeks an Electrical Service Engineer specializing in PLC automation to join a leading engineering organisation delivering industrial automation, production machinery and packaging systems. You will install, commission and maintain electrical and PLC controlled equipment at client sites across the UK and internationally, diagnosing faults and upgrading systems.
The role requires time served electrical engineering, PLC skills, and willingness to travel extensively.
Qualifications
- Time served Electrical Engineer with HNC/HND or equivalent.
- Strong commissioning and fault-finding experience.
- PLC programming skills with Siemens/S7 or Allen-Bradley ControlLogix.
- Knowledge of industrial automation networks and IT basics.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and abroad.
Responsabilités
- Install and commission electrical equipment and automated production machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, control system and PLC faults.
- Install and commission machinery upgrades and modifications.
- Work with Ethernet and Profibus networks for communication.
- Provide technical support and training to customers.
- Complete service reports and technical documentation.
- Support apprentices and junior engineers on site.
