Job summary
Actemium Automation in the United Kingdom is seeking a PLC-Scada Engineer to design, program and maintain SCADA systems and PLC control solutions for industrial automation projects. You will own technical responsibilities and provide client support, ensuring systems meet critical performance requirements.
You should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, at least 3 years of automation experience, and a willingness to travel to project sites across the UK.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Integrated Manufacturing or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Proven ability to design, test and support automation systems including PLC programming and HMI software.
Responsibilities
- Developing SCADA systems and programming PLCs for automation projects.
- Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Define critical processes and technical requirements.
- Document system design specifications for clear communication.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for custom solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
