Job summary

AVI-SPL UK & Ireland is seeking a Payroll Platforms & HR Operations Specialist to oversee the administration, configuration and optimization of global payroll platforms, initially Deel Payroll, EOR, Time Off, and Time Tracking. You will serve as a key SME between Payroll, HR, Finance, and external vendors, ensuring accurate, compliant payroll data and smooth cross-country operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll operations across multiple countries.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, controls and compliance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Deel Payroll, UKG, and HRIS integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate post-go-live hypercare for Deel and other payroll platforms.
• Support countries through transition from implementation into BAU operations.
• Act as operational SME between Payroll, HR, HR Platforms, Finance and vendors.
• Manage payroll-platform support tickets and escalations.
• Coordinate configuration of Time Off, Time Tracking and pay components.
• Produce operational reporting and validate data quality across HRIS and payroll platforms.
