Job summary

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator providing AV and event services worldwide. We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the People team and support end-to-end payroll for ~600 permanent employees, with involvement in pensions administration.

You will assist the Payroll Manager with accurate, timely pay and help ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation, while developing payroll knowledge within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing, ideally within the technology sector.
• Good understanding of UK payroll legislation (tax, NI, Auto-enrolment pensions, statutory payments).
• Well-organised with the ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple payroll tasks.
• Works well in a team and can manage stakeholder queries.
• Intermediate Excel skills for data handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Payroll Manager with end-to-end payroll processing.
• Populate payroll information for submission to external provider.
• Ensure accurate and timely payments in line with payroll deadlines.
• Manage payroll inbox and respond to routine employee information requests.
• Assist with preparation of European payroll information.
• Download quarterly activity from SAP to support commission calculations.
• Send weekly emails to new starters and handle pensions mail merge for new joiners.
• Support pensions inbox and respond to opt-in/opt-out and pension holiday requests.
• Develop understanding of payroll legislation to ensure compliance.
