Job summary

Diligent is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and APAC. A strong focus on UK payroll legislation, tax, pensions, and compliance is essential, with experience coordinating with third-party providers.

The role supports documenting payroll transactions, ensuring timely execution, and optimizing payroll processes as the company grows. Hybrid work is offered with opportunities across our global offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-to-end payroll processing with global experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax, pensions, and compliance.
• Experience managing payroll for multiple international payrolls and third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time and accurate disbursement of all payroll transactions for employees across multiple international payrolls.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate data entry of benefits, employee data, and payroll changes.
• Create and annotate payroll journal entries in the general ledger (GL).
• Resolve payroll GL reconciliation exceptions with accounting to ensure proper recording in the ERP system.
• Review and audit timesheets and payroll reports; manage payroll cutoffs; process payrolls timely.
• Maintain country-specific payroll guidelines and applicable policies and procedures.
