Job summary

Alliance Pharmaceuticals Limited in Chippenham, Wiltshire, is seeking an Interim Payroll Co-Ordinator to deliver accurate UK and international payrolls on a 12-month fixed term contract. Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office is offered.

You will manage UK and overseas payrolls with outsourced providers, prepare journals and month-end entries, support Concur expenses and employee benefits, and assist with P11D/PSA submissions and payroll tax compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in payroll processing and payroll accounting.
• Experience preparing journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong Excel and systems skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational capability.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
• UK and international payroll exposure – China, Singapore, US, France, and Germany.
• P11D and PSA experience.
• Process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Audit and compliance support.

Responsibilities

• Manage UK and overseas payrolls in partnership with outsourced providers
• Prepare payroll journals, month-end accounting entries, reconciliations and reporting
• Act as the administrator for our Concur expense management and travel systems
• Support employee benefits administration, including salary sacrifice schemes
• Assist with P11D and PSA submissions and payroll-related tax compliance
• Partner with HR, Finance, employees and external providers to resolve queries and improve processes
• Support audits and help strengthen controls, governance and documentation
• Contribute to automation initiatives and finance transformation projects that improve efficiency and user experience
