Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking an Implementation Coordinator to join the Ecomm team in Cambridge.

You will coordinate end-to-end merchant integrations, act as a central liaison between merchants and internal/technical teams, and manage plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies. You will review merchant requirements, analyse performance data for optimisation opportunities, and drive changes across configurations, routing, fraud settings, and integrations while maintaining clear stakeholder

• Experience in payments, ecommerce, implementations, or project coordination.
• Understanding of payment processing and authorisation flows, API integrations, and digital customer journeys.
• Ability to manage stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to simplify technical concepts.
• Proactive problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end implementation activities for merchant integration and optimisation.
• Act as a central point between merchants, internal teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Track and manage implementation plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Review merchant requirements and align with product capabilities.
• Assist in reviewing transaction performance data to support optimisation.
• Coordinate changes across payment configurations, routing, fraud and risk settings, and integrations.
• Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
• Contribute to process and tooling improvements.
• Support reporting on ticket progress and outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with merchants to ensure positive experiences.
• Stay up to date with payment products and industry best practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
