Job summary

Talbot in London, part of AIG, seeks a Head of Operations to shape and oversee the operating model across the business. You will drive efficiency, partner with senior leaders, and manage outsourcing relationships while ensuring Lloyd’s regulatory compliance and robust governance.

This is a senior leadership role with significant impact on risk and service performance. The role requires deep experience in insurance, underwriting processes, and team leadership within a complex, regulated market.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of operational excellence tools and techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of underwriting processes within Lloyd’s London Market.
• Extensive experience in the insurance industry and Lloyd’s/ London Market regulatory requirements.
• Experience in managing a team and delivering large-scale, complex projects.
• Strategic planning and collaboration with Executives to drive Operations agenda.

Responsibilities

• Create and drive Operations’ strategy aligned with Talbot’s objectives; deliver targets and plans.
• Partner with business leaders to translate customer/operational needs into service and control requirements.
• Own Outsource Service Provider relationships and monitor performance.
• Support procurement and vendor management with Global Sourcing teams.
• Ensure regulatory, statutory, and Lloyd’s standards are met with effective controls.
