Job summary

Outpost Technologies is seeking a Head of Operations to own and optimize how the company actually runs globally. You will lead merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB, market launches, tax registrations, payouts, treasury approvals, chargebacks, and merchant support.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you design processes, define playbooks, and run them until they’re ready to hand over. You’ll hire and grow a small team, but initially you are the team.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years in operations at high-growth fintech, payments, or e-commerce infrastructure.
• Own a function or large slice of a function, not just execution.
• Experience building processes from zero, not inheriting them.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational stack end to end: onboarding, merchant ops, payments, treasury, and compliance.
• Build repeatable, documented playbooks and metrics.
• Work with eng to spec internal tooling and act as the internal ops customer.
• Hire, onboard, and grow a small ops team; be the hands-on leader for a period.
• Launch and scale new markets with full legal, tax, payments, and ops setup.
