Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate to join the CO&D Global Controls Team in the UK. The role focuses on leading AML/KYC engagements, regulatory exams, and risk remediation across Wholesale KYC Operations and Digital Document Services.

You will interact with Corporate Compliance, Internal Audit, and cross-LOB partners, using data analytics and AI tools to enhance risk controls and ensure timely regulatory responses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in controls, compliance, audit, risk management, or equivalent in a financial institution or reputable firm.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Excellent communication and AML/KYC/data expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage AML/KYC engagements including regulatory examinations, internal and external audits and Compliance reviews.
• Prepare RFIs and coordinate with SMEs to collect, review and submit responses.
• Lead regulatory reporting end-to-end with MIS Reporting and Operations; handle large data requests from regulators.
• Engage with Legal, Internal Audit, Compliance and cross-LOB partners; provide executive-ready management reporting.
• Use analytics and AI/LLM capabilities to anticipate trends and improve risk controls; support related initiatives.
• Proactively engage with stakeholders to identify and assess risks.
