Job summary

Vestas is seeking candidates for the Pre-Installation team within its Global Offshore NCE. You will bring a mechanical or electrical background and help coordinate pre-installation activities across projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely progress.

Based in the NCE Offshore CPX team, the role offers exposure to large renewable energy projects and collaboration with diverse stakeholders across departments.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical background required.
• Wind industry experience preferred, e.g., V164 turbines.
• Strong focus on HSE, quality and customer relations.
• Knowledge of coordinating general safety and safety awareness.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication.
• Strong deadline orientation and time management.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and in teams.
• Team-oriented with leadership and structured work approach.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and quality standards for all tasks.
• Coordinate Pre-installation documentation with the Quality Supervisor.
• Use the latest revisions of work and installation instructions.
• Ensure correct torque and tension values are applied.
• Oversee tools, lifting gear, and subcontractor inventory.
• Communicate safety updates to staff and supervise lifting ops.
• Monitor site progress to meet timelines and support Q-team.
