Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Global Occupational Health & Wellness Director to design and govern a worldwide OH strategy, spanning injury management, employee wellness, and IH governance. The role collaborates with EHS, HR, Legal, and site leadership to ensure compliant, scalable programs across multiple regions.

The position emphasizes establishment of global standards, rapid intervention programs, and data-driven reporting while leading international teams and external vendors to optimize health

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Occupational Health leadership in multinational or regulated industries.
• Strong experience with U.S. Injury Management and Workers’ compensation programs.
• Knowledge of Australian self-insurance injury management and Early Intervention programs.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EU OSH, Australian Work Health and Safety law, ISO 45001/45003, and ACGIH/NIOSH frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global Occupational Health & Wellness strategy aligned with EHS vision.
• Lead Injury Management and Workers’ Compensation programs across the US, Europe and Australia, ensuring compliant handling, medical quality, and efficient claim resolution.
• Establish global standards, clinical protocols, and IH governance systems.
• Lead global case management including early communication, functional capacity evaluations, and accommodation assessments.
• Govern Australian self-insurance injury management systems and compliance audits.
• Oversee international Early Intervention programs focusing on rapid triage and injury minimization, capacity and “workability” function retention.
• Lead OH/IH global teams and manage external vendor performance.
• Own global Occupational Health data systems, KPIs, and reporting.
