Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support day-to-day network operations across regions, monitor environments, respond to incidents, and perform preventative maintenance.

You will collaborate with regional and global teams, act as an escalation point from the NOC, and contribute to project implementations and design work with the engineering team, including IaC and automation initiatives. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with incident response and NOC operations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and version control (Terraform, Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with Cisco/Aruba switching, SD-WAN, SASE, NSX, and cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot network performance and issues to minimize downtime.
• Technical Escalation: Serve as escalation point for network incidents from the NOC.
• Technical Standards: Update configurations per global standards and IT procedures.
• Configuration Management: Audit configurations for compliance and remediation planning.
• Device Security: Patch network hardware to latest versions for security.
• Equipment Deployment: Assist in branch deployments and remote device configuration.
