Job summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking a Global Opportunities Coordinator to join the Global Opportunities team within the Careers & Employability Service. The role supports over 1,000 inbound and outbound students each year through a network of 200+ partner institutions worldwide, focusing on study abroad activities, operational processes, and advising students, university staff, and partners.

• Experience in higher education or related field.
• Understanding of international higher education.
• Understanding of intercultural skills.

Responsibilities

• Support inbound and outbound students undertaking international mobility opportunities.
• Manage grant funding and partnership agreements.
• Support study abroad and short-term abroad experiences.
• Coordinate budgets and reporting activities.
• Advise exchange students on international opportunities and processes.
• Work with international partners and university staff across programmes.
• Contribute to the work of the Global Opportunities team within the Careers & Employability Service.
