Job summary

NRL International Mobility Specialist – Teesside seeks an experienced professional to coordinate international assignments for the NZT Power project, ensuring compliant immigration, payroll, and relocation support.

You will partner with HR, finance, and project teams to manage onboarding, repatriation, and mobility records while upholding health, safety and confidentiality commitments within a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in international or global mobility, immigration or expatriate management.
• Working knowledge of UK immigration and right-to-work procedures.
• Experience coordinating international assignments within a corporate or project-based setting.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mobilisation and onboarding of international staff supporting the NZT Power Project.
• Manage the full lifecycle of international assignments, including initiation, extension and repatriation.
• Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers on mobility matters.
• Coordinate visa, work permit and immigration compliance processes.
• Manage relocation services such as accommodation, travel and settling-in support.
• Prepare assignment documentation, maintain mobility records and produce regular reports.
• Liaise with finance and tax advisors regarding expatriate payroll, tax and social security compliance.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external mobility partners.
• Promote the client’s commitment to health, safety, ethics and confidentiality.
