Job summary

NRL Recruitment is seeking an International Mobility Specialist to support the Net Zero Teesside Power Project. You will coordinate international assignments, onboarding and mobility services within a global engineering environment driving decarbonisation.

The role covers immigration compliance, visa and work-permit management, payroll alignment with tax advisors, relocation logistics, and regular mobility reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in international or global mobility.
• Knowledge of UK immigration and right-to-work procedures.
• Experience coordinating international assignments in a corporate or project setting.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
• CIPD or equivalent HR qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mobilisation and onboarding of international staff supporting the NZT Power Project.
• Manage the full lifecycle of international assignments, including initiation, extension and repatriation.
• Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers on mobility matters.
• Coordinate visa, work permit and immigration compliance processes.
• Manage relocation services such as accommodation, travel and settling-in support.
• Prepare assignment documentation, maintain mobility records and produce regular reports.
• Liaise with finance and tax advisors regarding expatriate payroll, tax and social security compliance.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external mobility partners.
• Promote health, safety, ethics and confidentiality.
