Job summary

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is seeking an operationally focused Global Mobility Lead to drive delivery across UK, EAME, MENA and Asia. The role oversees service delivery, capacity planning and performance, ensuring policy is applied in practice and risks are managed with clear escalation paths.

You will embed the GM operating model, improve workflows and reporting, and drive key projects to enhance efficiency and scalability across regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational mobility/HR experience in a professional services environment.
• Experience managing complex, high-volume mobility casework.
• Strong ability to forecast workload and prioritize tasks.
• Proven track record of leading teams through change.
• Demonstrated process improvement and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work with HR and senior stakeholders to manage expectations.
• Good understanding of risk, governance and compliance in operations.

Responsibilities

• Own workforce capacity planning, workload forecasting and prioritisation for mobility volumes.
• Manage case allocation, workload and delivery priorities across the team.
• Ensure consistent, efficient case progression and quality standards.
• Track costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce spend.
• Embed the global mobility delivery model across regions and teams.
• Define ownership, escalation points and reduce hand-offs.
• Provide clear updates on case progress, risks and timelines to stakeholders.
