Job summary

Healix Health is recruiting an experienced nurse to join our Government team in a dynamic, diverse role. The position offers an office-based UK workload with ongoing patient contact via telephone and technology, and opportunities for development through Healix Academy.

You will apply your nursing expertise across international cases, coordinating with doctors and coordinators to provide safe, effective care and travel planning for overseas-based employees and their families.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC pin.
• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and IT skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience in varied nursing areas such as primary care, acute care or travel/overseas health nursing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine medical case management with focus on patient well-being and satisfaction.
• Provide medical advice and recommendations to patients/clients remotely.
• Liaise with international medical professionals to obtain information and coordinate care.
• Assess medical reports and write referrals to support action and duty of care.
• Advise on fitness to fly and evaluate standards against international guidelines.
• Arrange medical evacuations/repatriations where needed and act as a medical escort if required.
