Healix is seeking an experienced nurse to join its Government team in a UK office-based role. You will work within a nurse-led team alongside doctors, coordinators and administrators to support overseas government employees and families from a medical perspective.

The role transitions clinical work to a UK-based setting while leveraging nursing expertise. You will manage medical cases globally, liaise with professionals, and contribute to quality improvements while maintaining patient contact

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC pin and band 5 or above clinical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; basic IT skills.
• Able to work in a team and independently to plan and manage caseload.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine medical case management activities focusing on patient well-being and satisfaction.
• Provide medical advice and recommendations to patients and clients via telephone and online channels.
• Coordinate with international medical professionals to obtain information and plan care changes.
• Evaluate medical reports and write referrals to support acute care and duty of care requirements.
• Assess care standards against international benchmarks and advise on fitness to fly.
• Provide pre-travel and overseas medical planning advice.
• Arrange medical evacuations and repatriations as needed.
