Job summary

Healix International is seeking an experienced nurse to join the Government team as a Medical Case Manager. The role focuses on overseeing overseas-based government employees and their families from a medical perspective, with office-based duties in the UK and ongoing patient contact via telephone and technology.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, coordinators, and administrators, to manage clinical cases across diverse locations and ensure high-quality care and risk

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with an active NMC pin.
• Experience in clinical case management is advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine medical case management activities focusing on patient well-being.
• Provide medical advice and recommendations via telephone and digital channels.
• Liaise with international medical professionals for information, treatment, and care changes.
• Assess medical reports and write referrals to support patients and employer/insurer duty of care.
• Advise on fitness to fly by evaluating medical standards of care.
• Arrange medical evacuations and repatriations when required.
• Collaborate with in-house doctors to create safe medical plans.
