AIS Marine is seeking a technically minded Marine Technical Business Development Manager based in Plymouth. You will drive growth across UK and Norwegian manufacturing operations, combining engineering know-how with commercial development and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication, and the ability to travel internationally. You will work closely with sales, engineering and production teams to deliver technically

Qualifikationen

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand complex products and processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and commercial audiences.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships across international teams.
• Self-motivated, organised and results driven.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute business development strategies for growth in the UK and Norway.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities by promoting capabilities across sites.
• Build relationships with existing customers and expand business with new products.
• Generate new opportunities through market research, visits and events.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and production to tailor technical solutions.
• Understand company products and share compelling technical proposals and quotes.
• Maintain regular communication with UK and Norwegian teams on opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify future growth.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings, exhibitions and visits.
