Babcock invites applications for a Service Support Engineer in Rosyth, near Dunfermline, Fife. You will act as the technical focal point for a portfolio of advanced marine systems worldwide, resolving complex issues and improving performance.

The role involves direct customer interaction, cross-functional collaboration, and travel to sites. A degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required, with SC security clearance to be obtained if needed.

Qualificações

• Experience in service engineering, technical support, field service, maintenance, commissioning or operational engineering with complex industrial equipment.
• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across electrical, control/instrumentation, mechanical, process, automation or marine systems.
• Proven ability to manage technical issues from investigation to resolution.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers across a portfolio of vessels and operators.
• Investigate and resolve complex engineering issues across multiple systems.
• Manage technical enquiries, service requests and warranty cases from diagnosis to resolution.
• Monitor fleet performance, identify trends and recommend improvements to reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, field service and product teams to drive improvements.
