Job summary

EY in Glasgow is seeking a Solution Portfolio Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of approved solution architectures into rollout‑ready managed services. You will own the portfolio plan and coordinate across architecture, solution and delivery teams to ensure timely, high‑quality outcomes.

You will drive governance, risk, and quality assurance across multi‑initiative programmes, translating architecture into detailed service designs and scalable, repeatable delivery models for global clients.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering across multiple concurrent projects/programmes in a Managed Services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix/federated delivery model with dispersed teams and cross-geo.
• Strong governance, risk, dependency and stakeholder management at portfolio level.
• Experience developing complex MS solutions/services through multi-stage lifecycles (design → build → rollout).
• Ability to bridge architecture/design functions and delivery teams effectively.
• Experience in global, matrixed delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio plan and ensure solution architectures progress to rollout readiness across multiple initiatives.
• Translate approved architectures into detailed service designs, processes and KPIs with standardised, repeatable delivery.
• Manage service development activities to build and configure operational solutions, tracking progress and risks.
• Oversee portfolio governance, stage-gate approvals, architecture assurance, RAID, budget and reporting.
• Ensure each solution is operationally ready with clear service descriptions and onboarding.
