Job summary

Think Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator for a role based in Hemel Hempstead. You will oversee logistics across an international network of 3PL providers, coordinate stock movements, organise transport and ensure shipments meet customer requirements.

You’ll build relationships, resolve delivery issues and maintain accurate records using ERP systems (Sage 200 knowledge is advantageous). This office-based role offers regular hours, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, distribution or supply chain coordination.
• Experience with 3PL providers or external distribution partners.
• Understanding of stock control, order fulfilment and transport coordination.
• Strong organisational skills across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication with customers, warehouse partners and internal teams.
• Proactive problem-solving with attention to detail and customer service.
• Good IT skills; Sage 200 knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced warehouse operations and ensure providers meet service levels.
• Monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies with warehouse partners.
• Coordinate orders and dispatch to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Arrange and coordinate transport for shipments.
• Manage orders for trade customers with stock and delivery requirements.
• Monitor consignment stock and maintain records.
• Coordinate stock movements between international locations with partners.
• Monitor 3PL performance and resolve shipment and delivery issues.
• Maintain records and use systems/reports to support stock, orders and logistics management.
