Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Logistics Coordinator based in Aberdeen or Reading. This hybrid role combines 2-3 days in the office with flexible remote work.

You will coordinate transport requests, craft load plans, and optimize shipment routes to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing cost efficiency. You will ensure compliance with international regulations and internal standards, safeguarding supply chain reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coordinate and validate transport requests to meet delivery deadlines.
• Expertise in load planning and cargo optimization to maximize equipment utilization.
• Strong skills in shipment routing, consolidation, and backload opportunities for cost savings.
• Experience monitoring shipment execution and managing logistics deviations proactively.
• Familiarity with international transport compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in using logistics planning tools and business systems to track and report shipment status.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
