Job summary

A&O Shearman is seeking a Learning & Development Senior Manager to lead global leadership and skills development from our London office. You will shape programmes for partners, associates and Business Teams, influencing senior stakeholders and driving blended learning with AI-enabled delivery.

You will manage a multi‑million pound T&D budget, collaborate with the Training Events team, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience designing and implementing development programmes, including at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of modern learning methodologies and learning technologies.
• Experience within professional services, including law firms, with client‑focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver leadership and business skills development for lawyers globally.
• Champion blended learning and AI-enabled delivery; deliver selected programmes virtually or in‑person.
• Manage relationships across the global network and budgets; forecast and track learning initiatives.
