Job summary

Vix Technology in Manchester is seeking an IT Support Lead to keep our global corporate IT environment reliable while supporting our modernization efforts.

You will work with the Head of IT, lead end-user support, manage networks, cloud services and SaaS apps, and collaborate across time zones to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Second-line IT support or a similar role.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and AWS in a mixed OS and cloud environment.
• Familiarity with corporate SaaS applications and development tools.
• ITIL Foundation certification and a tertiary IT qualification.
• Clear communication, attention to detail and ability to collaborate across locations and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, support and improve the infrastructure, networks, cloud services and corporate applications our teams rely on.
• Be a hands-on technical lead, resolving end-user device, connectivity and SaaS issues.
• Work with a geographically distributed team to share knowledge and coordinate handovers.
• Contribute to IT modernisation programmes and standardisation of systems.
