Job summary

HarbourVest Partners in London seeks a hands-on technical manager to lead the End-User Support and Endpoint/ Workplace Technology teams across EMEA. The role combines leadership with practical engineering depth to guide decisions and mentor engineers in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will drive service delivery, manage incidents and changes, and partner with regional IT teams to improve the user experience while maintaining robust security and compliance across devices and applications in

Qualifications

• Experience leading a technical support or endpoint function.
• Ability to provide clear direction and mentorship to a team.
• Strong incident, change, and problem management skills, with hands-on engineering involvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-user support across EMEA and London-based team.
• Own difficult incidents and executive critical issues; coordinate resolution.
• Set daily priorities, ownership, and deliverables for the team.
• Lead Workplace Technology services (AV, meeting/event support, office operations).
• Lead endpoint management operations (secure, healthy devices and apps).
• Collaborate with IT teams and suppliers across regions to implement improvements.
• Own service levels and operational performance using data and feedback.
