Job summary

Clarks is seeking an experienced Group Insurance and Risk Manager to own the global insurance programme, lead broker relationships, manage claims and support risk management across a global consumer brand. Hybrid/remote considered, permanent contract.

You will work with Finance, Legal and IT to protect the business, drive continuity planning, and report to senior leadership including the Audit Committee.

Qualifications

• Experience in a corporate insurance, insurance management, broking or insurer environment
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance programmes, renewals and claims management
• Experience working with brokers, insurers and senior stakeholders
• The ability to assess risks and make balanced commercial recommendations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, organised and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Managing Clarks' global insurance programme and annual renewals
• Developing strong relationships with brokers and insurers
• Managing insurance claims from notification through to resolution
• Providing advice on insurance coverage, policy wording and risk transfer
• Reviewing programme structure, premiums and excess levels to ensure effective protection and value
• Supporting cyber insurance activity alongside internal stakeholders
• Maintaining and developing the Group risk register
• Coordinating quarterly principal risk reporting for senior leadership and the Audit Committee
• Supporting and testing business continuity plans
• Working with colleagues across Finance, Legal, IT, Health & Safety and other business functions to identify and manage emerging risks
