Job summary

Ashdown Group is recruiting a Head of Infrastructure to lead and modernise its global IT infrastructure and operations from London. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical delivery across cloud, networking and enterprise platforms.

You will drive infrastructure transformation, platform consolidation and post‑acquisition integration, while managing budgets and external partners to deliver secure, scalable services across UK and US operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the global infrastructure strategy while staying technically involved in day-to-day operations.
• Oversee cloud, network, server, storage, identity and end-user environments.
• Drive modernisation, cloud adoption, platform consolidation and post‑acquisition integration.
• Maintain oversight of Azure, M365, Entra ID, Intune and enterprise networking.
• Lead infrastructure engineering teams and partners.
• Ensure resilience, DR, security and cost optimisation.
