Job summary

Ashdown Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead delivery and governance of IT and infrastructure initiatives from Kingston, Surrey. The role is hybrid, with a focus on structured delivery, stakeholder collaboration and service operations, ensuring projects align with budgets and business outcomes.

You will drive visibility on delivery health, risks, incident handling and supplier performance while coordinating multiple workstreams across technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex IT projects and service operations.
• Experience in governance, risk, and regulatory environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the structured delivery of IT and infrastructure projects, translating business and technology priorities into clear, achievable project plans.
• Define and maintain milestones, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and key decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish effective delivery cadence across assigned projects and workstreams, including governance meetings, status reviews and stakeholder updates.
• Maintain robust project documentation, change control and audit-ready governance artefacts.
• Identify delivery risks and blockers early, driving appropriate actions and escalation to keep projects on track.
• Own regular project and service reporting, providing updates on progress, RAID status, supplier activity and financial position.
• Maintain RAID logs and action trackers, ensuring risks and dependencies are managed.
• Develop clear path-to-green plans for off-track delivery and blockers.
• Coordinate with technical specialists, operational teams, and suppliers to maintain alignment.
• Facilitate meetings to drive decisions and ownership.
