Job summary

Evotec SE in Abingdon and other sites seeks a Lead In Silico Business Partner to align platform science with the global In Silico & AI function. You will own the relationship, translate priorities, and deliver a prioritized in silico roadmap with emphasis on ADMET/Safety and omics data generation.

The role requires strong cross‑site collaboration, commercial acumen, and ability to move capabilities from pilots into routine platform operation, with measurable value delivery.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in life sciences, chemistry, computational or data science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in biotech, pharma, CRO, or a comparable science driven environment.
• Demonstrable experience partnering with, or working inside, drug discovery platform functions such as DMPK, ADME/Tox, safety, screening, or omics.
• Evidence of in silico or AI solutions delivered into routine scientific use, not only into pilot.
• Experience working across multiple countries and sites in an international matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the end to end relationship between the Drug Discovery Platforms segment and the In Silico & AI function globally, acting as the single accountable front door for all incoming demand.
• Shape and own the in silico and AI roadmap for the platform business, with particular focus on ADMET/Safety and in vitro predictive safety (NAMs).
• Capture, structure and prioritize demand from platform leadership, translating needs into clear, testable requirements with Solution Managers and AI teams.
• Orchestrate the in silico contribution across Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Therapeutics Design, AI Accelerator and Solutions & Data.
• Partner with omics data generation platforms to turn data into governed assets with IT & Data.
• Drive adoption at scale, moving in silico and AI from pilot to routine platform operation.
• Provide input to segment and portfolio prioritization, including demand visibility and investment cases.
• Contribute in silico content to client proposals and bids with Commercial and Global Portfolio Management.
• Track value delivered: margin uplift, cycle time, and revenue attribution.
