Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking an Import & Export Administrator in Exeter to support international shipping and logistics operations. The role involves handling full shipment cycles, coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders, and preparing essential documents.

The ideal candidate has prior import/export or logistics experience, strong knowledge of customs procedures, and excellent organizational skills. A related degree is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in import/export or logistics
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Good knowledge of MS Office and shipping systems

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments from start to finish ensuring compliance with customs and trade requirements
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and customs agents to coordinate shipments
• Prepare and check shipping documents including invoices, packing lists and origin certificates
• Monitor stock and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate records of import/export activity for compliance and audit purposes
• Support review and optimization of freight and shipping costs
• Keep up to date with changes to customs regulations and tariffs
• Collaborate with sales, finance, legal and other departments for smooth operations
