Job summary

bp is seeking a HR Tech and Product Manager to lead the end-to-end HRIS technology landscape globally, covering the full employee lifecycle from hire to retire. Reporting to the Head of Services & Solutions, this Level G role owns HRIS strategy, configuration, release management, integrations, vendor performance and compliance, delivering a modern, AI-enabled employee experience across bp.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, IT or related field.
• Experience in HR technology, HRIS leadership, product ownership.
• Deep knowledge of Workday HCM and HRIS lifecycle.
• Experience owning global HRIS landscape and integrations.
• Experience in HR systems implementations in multi-country environments.
• Understanding of GDPR, SoX, audit and risk in people-technology.
• Strong senior partner management and influencing skills.
• Experience with external vendors and governance.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HRIS strategy and lifecycle for Castrol.
• Own HRIS architecture, data model and integrations across the employee lifecycle.
• Oversee release, configuration and environment management for Workday and connected HR technologies.
• Drive opportunities to simplify processes, improve employee experience, and adopt AI-enabled HR services.
• Define and maintain the HRIS service catalogue and act as the senior customer concern point for incidents and service issues.
• Manage vendor and partner performance across the HRIS stack and governance forums.
• Ensure data integrity, security, privacy and compliance (GDPR, SoX).
• Develop reporting and people analytics capabilities for decision-making and compliance.
• Lead organisational change, communications, training and adoption of new HR technologies.
• Own business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements for critical HRIS services.
• Mentor HRIS team and manage third-party resources.
