Job summary

Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking a Group HR Business Partner for a fixed-term contract of 12 months to cover maternity leave. The role is remote in the UK with occasional travel, reporting to the Global Group HRBP and CHRO, and collaborating with UK leaders to align UK policies with global standards.

You will provide HRBP support to global functions, coach managers, promote benefits, and drive improvements across the employee experience while maintaining governance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (and ambition to study at Level 7).
• Experience in an HR generalist/advisory role across multiple sites/functions.
• Typically 3+ years in an HR role with credibility with managers and employees.
• Comfort working across time zones and cultures with global partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and delivery of people initiatives in a matrix/global environment.
• Growth mindset with willingness to learn and improve ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional leaders to translate business priorities into a practical people plan.
• Support workforce planning and resourcing with TA and regional HR teams.
• Use data to identify trends and risks and track progress.
• Facilitate engagement surveys, analyse results and support action planning.
• Ensure policy governance and escalate complex or high‑risk matters appropriately.
• Support managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle with guidance.
• Promote employee benefits and wellbeing, signposting resources and programmes.
• Coach managers through core people processes and drive manager capability.
• Identify opportunities for digitalisation and automation to improve efficiency.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and secure employee records.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR ways of working and governance.
• Coordinate inputs to annual cycles with global HRBPs and specialist teams.

Education

CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
