Job summary

Dudman Tidbury HR Ltd is seeking an HR Business Partner to cover a 12-month maternity leave in the UK. The role reports to the HR Director for Europe and works with European counterparts, supporting UK operations and smaller Northern European sites.

You will lead local delivery of the global people strategy, partnering with leaders across the employee lifecycle and driving change, talent development and organisational capability initiatives.

Qualifications

• CIPD membership and qualification (required).
• Proven experience as a Senior HR Generalist.
• Knowledge of current employment law legislation.
• Experience developing training and development programs.
• Proven experience leading local delivery of change and transformation programmes.
• Comfortable working in a matrix structure with multiple cultures and jurisdictions.
• Able to build credibility with entrepreneurial local leaders.
• Willing to be onsite five days a week, at least for the first three months.

Job description

Our client is a privately-held, global company headquartered in the USA. They develop, manufacture and distribute medical equipment and technology. They are looking to hire an HR Business Partner to cover a 12 month maternity leave. The role reports to the HR Director for Europe, and works alongside European counterparts.

In addition to responsibilities in the UK, there are smaller operations in Northern Europe that you will support.

The role leads local delivery of the global people strategy. You will be part of the UK Leadership Team. The role partners with leaders across the whole employee life cycle, covering such aspects as organisational change, talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, employee relations and organisational capability.

In addition to day-to-day more generalist HR, there are specific people projects for 2027. The local implementation of global transformation priorities across the regions, representing the region within the global HR technology projects and supporting the local deployment of a new HR system.

Relevant skills and experience:

• CIPD membership and qualification
• Proven experience operating as a Senior HR Generalist
• Knowledge of up-to-date employment law legislation
• Experience developing training and development
• Proven experience leading local delivery of change/transformation programmes
• Comfortable to work in a matrix structure with different cultures and jurisdictions

• Happy to be onsite 5 days per week (certainly for the first three months)
