Job summary

RWS in Maidenhead, UK, seeks an HR Systems Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of HR technology implementations, upgrades, and process improvements across the organisation. You will drive delivery for HRIS, payroll, time & attendance, recruiting, learning, and workforce management platforms.

You will work with D365 HR, Workday, iCIMS, Replicon, Target, MyLX, Activ Payroll, and other platforms, engaging governance and change-management activities with HR, Finance and IT to ensure on-time,

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience delivering complex technology or HR transformation projects.
• Proven experience leading HR system implementations or upgrades with major platforms.
• Strong understanding of core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, time & attendance, payroll, and workforce management.
• Demonstrated competency in managing multiple concurrent workstreams and third-party delivery teams.
• Experience with globally distributed HR operations teams and remote service delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management at C-suite and senior HR levels.
• Vendor management experience with SaaS or enterprise HR technology providers.
• Knowledge of GDPR compliance and data privacy in HR systems.
• Project management certification desirable (PMP/PRINCE2).

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of HR system projects from initiation through go-live and benefits realization.
• Define scope, milestones, budget, success criteria, and governance in alignment with HR/Technology leadership.
• Ensure integration between HR systems and finance, payroll, and reporting tools.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across HR, Technology, Finance, Shared Services, and regional operations.
• Oversee system configuration, data cleansing, migration, and validation with functional/technical teams.
• Gather requirements and deliver high-quality functional/technical specifications for HR processes and compliance.
• Coordinate UAT, parallel run, and cutover planning for smooth transitions.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies with mitigation strategies and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain RAID logs, project plans, status reports, and decision records.
• Manage relationships with external vendors/partners (iCIMS, Workday, Replicon, Activ Payroll) to meet timelines and quality.
• Act as primary contact for senior HR/Technology leadership with executive reporting.
• Develop and oversee change management, training, and communication plans for HR teams.
• Support adoption post-go-live with controls, governance, and SOPs.
• Stay aware of HR technology trends to inform future investments.
