Job summary

EF Bournemouth International Language Campus is seeking a student-focused Homestay Coordinator to support international students through their homestay experience. You will recruit and manage host families, assist students with accommodation queries, and coordinate moves while upholding high welfare and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background in a student-facing or accommodation-based role.
• Confident communicator with students and host families in-person, by phone and/or email.
• Calm, empathetic and solution-focused, especially when managing complaints or sensitive situations.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Culturally sensitive and understanding of international students' needs.
• Flexible and hands-on, including occasional out-of-hours welfare support.
• Desirable experience with Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Homestay customer service desk and be the primary contact for student accommodation queries.
• Support students through homestay challenges, including relocation and expectations management.
• Recruit and develop host families, manage the sales pipeline, and hit KPIs.
• Conduct welfare checks for under-18 students and monitor quality standards.
• Process and maintain accurate accommodation records in internal systems.
