Global Head of Recruitment Operations

We are seeking a Global Head of Recruitment Operations to oversee recruitment activities worldwide for Deliveroo, across more than 9 countries. This role reports to the Recruiting Team at our HQ in London and manages the Global Recruitment Operations team (3 direct reports, 16 FTE).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational backbone of global recruitment, managing programs and processes that support a tech-driven, efficient, and effective recruitment team.

As a strategic partner, you will utilize data to tell the recruitment story, unblock bottlenecks, and identify new opportunities. You will build and lead a team that ensures consistent delivery and experience, and will promote recruitment contributions across Deliveroo.

One of our key strategic priorities is leading a global recruitment tech transformation, integrating AI into the hiring lifecycle—from candidate screening to structured interviews—to create a fair, scalable, and predictive process. This role will be pivotal in shaping and implementing the future of talent acquisition through automation and analytics to enhance efficiency, experience, and operational standards.

Your responsibilities
  • Lead the global recruitment operations team, including recruiters, program managers, and employer branding specialists.
  • Use data analytics to identify hiring opportunities and implement solutions to improve recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Design and implement global recruitment technology initiatives using AI, automation, and data analytics to streamline processes and enhance stakeholder and candidate experiences.
  • Manage and refine all global recruitment programs, ensuring smooth change management processes.
  • Oversee enablement, training, onboarding, and knowledge management for the recruitment team.
  • Develop best practices, resources, and processes to maintain high-quality hiring standards and support the company's high talent bar.
  • Drive employer brand strategies across markets.
  • Create and refine a standardized, evidence-based evaluation and selection framework for hiring decisions.
  • Prioritize and execute innovative experiments and programs, focusing on diversity, talent branding, and awareness.
What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience in recruitment or operational effectiveness leadership roles within tech-driven companies.
  • Strong leadership skills with at least 5 years of managing people.
  • Proven track record in leading recruitment technology transformations, including AI, automation, or interview intelligence tools.
  • Experience managing change initiatives across global recruitment functions, with a focus on process redesign and operating model improvements for scalability and agility.
  • Experience collaborating with employer branding or marketing teams to enhance global EVP and recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and convincingly.
  • Exceptional project and program management skills.
