Position Overview Thurn Partners is looking for a Team Lead to establish and grow our Risk practice, partnering with elite hedge funds, trading firms, and alternative investment managers. This is a chance to take full ownership of a new market vertical within a high-performance search firm operating at the highest levels of the alternative investment space. In this role, you will build and lead a specialist team, driving candidate generation, client management, and business growth while maintaining the highest professional standards. Your Role & Impact

  • Build and lead – Establish and develop a specialist Risk search team, recruiting for hedge funds and alternative investment firms globally.
  • Client access and market impact – Work directly with senior leadership, advising them on hiring strategy and delivering top-tier talent.
  • Performance and standards – Set the bar for excellence, both in revenue generation, team growth and client service.
  • Development and mentorship – Coach, guide, and develop a team of consultants, helping them to grow and excel in the search industry.

The Dynamics of Our Workspace

  • While our official working hours span from 08:30-18:00, we're not a clock-in, clock-out establishment. Success here often means collaborating outside conventional hours, especially given our international clientele. If you never want to deal with work outside work, this job will not be for you.
  • Collaboration is our lifeblood. Thus, we encourage our team to be present at the office 4-5 days a week to learn and grow together. Post-probation, we work from home on Wednesday, and there's room for flexibility for occasional remote work for travel or managing personal errands.
