Job summary

YouLend Limited, based in London, seeks a Global Head of Collections to own and transform performance across all markets. You inherit a 35-person function and will build a global powerhouse with advanced analytics, segmentation, treatment paths, and contact strategies.

You will own cure rates, repayment speeds, cost-to-collect and losses. Reporting to the GM of Collections and Recoveries, you will lead multi-country teams and partner with Credit Risk, Finance and Technology to accelerate results

Qualifications

• You have directly owned collections outcomes and KPIs.
• You have built or materially transformed a collections function rather than inherited a mature one.
• You have led global teams across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones.
• You have led through managers rather than only managing individual contributors.
• You have strong command of the credit and lending domain: delinquency, defaults, recoveries, write-offs, roll rates, cure rates, and credit losses.
• You are comfortable with analytics, using cohorts, vintages, roll rates, cure rates, recovery curves, and segmentation to make decisions.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity, rapid growth, imperfect infrastructure, and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of 35 through five managers: UK/Europe, United States, Analytics and Transformation.
• Own the metrics and strategy for segmentation, treatment paths, and contact strategies across all markets.
• Develop and upgrade leadership through coaching and performance culture across time zones.
• Define the operating model: structure, management layers, workflows, governance, and cadence at global scale.
