Job summary

Lawson Fuses Limited in the UK is seeking a Global Business Development Lead to shape and execute commercial growth across key international markets including the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. You will lead an international team and partner with R&D, Product Management and Operations to drive profitable expansion.

This hybrid role is based at Lawson Fuses HQ in Newcastle upon Tyne with regular global travel and close collaboration with senior leadership to set the commercial strategy and

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent commercial qualification would be advantageous.
• Overall Experience Level: 12-15+ years commercial experience with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Industry Experience: fusegear, switchgear, electrical distribution or related sectors.
• Experience selling to Utilities, OEMs, EPC contractors, wholesalers and industrial end users.

Responsibilities

• Lead international commercial growth across Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
• Manage regional Business Development Managers and Marketing team.
• Develop and execute commercial growth strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and influence business decisions.
• Travel internationally up to 50%.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Operations and Finance.
