Global Group Reporting Manager - 6-month FTC

Job summary

Altum Consulting partner with a global maritime business to recruit a technically strong Group Reporting Manager on an initial 6-month FTC, with potential to go permanent. You will own consolidated reporting, statutory accounts and technical accounting across the group.

The role sits in the Group Finance team and requires ACA qualification, 3+ years in group reporting, and strong UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge. You will lead audits, drive improvements, and engage with overseas finance teams.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified, trained within Big 4.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification in group reporting, consolidation or technical accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS.
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and statutory accounts.
• Proven experience managing external audits and year-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/consolidation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead group consolidation and reporting across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.
• Own intercompany eliminations, currency translation and pack submissions.
• Provide technical accounting support on revenue, lease, currency and IFRS/UK GAAP.
• Draft and maintain group accounting policies and memos.
• Prepare statutory accounts for parent and UK entities.
• Manage year-end external audit process and liaise with overseas auditors.
• Maintain and enhance the group controls framework.
• Support tax reporting and transfer pricing documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement including automation and reporting quality.
• Mentor junior members of the Group Finance team.
