Job summary

Optimizely, a leader in AI-powered marketing technology, seeks a Group Financial Controller to steer IFRS governance, automate the close, and lead a distributed accounting team across EMEA, NA, and APAC. You will partner with FP&A leadership and drive AI-enabled finance transformations within a PE-backed SaaS business.

You will own the global close, sponsor process improvements, and ensure robust audit readiness while shaping the next phase of the company’s growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting or controllership, with senior regional/controller experience.
• IFRS technical accounting knowledge (IFRS 15, 16, 2, 3; IAS 36, IAS 21).
• Experience leading statutory reporting and external audits across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Own global month-, quarter-, and year-end close across entities.
• Oversee regional consolidation flux analysis and present to finance leadership.
• Lead external audits end-to-end for the group and subsidiaries; manage statutory filings.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS and new standards.
• Lead regional controllers across EMEA, NA, and APAC; ensure policy consistency.
• Drive AI adoption and automation in close processes while maintaining controls.
