Mitchell Adam Ltd is partnering with a highly ambitious private equity-backed international group to appoint a Group Financial Controller. You will own financial reporting, governance and control across a complex international structure, leading a global finance team and driving improvements in processes and controls to scale with growth.

The role offers significant executive exposure and a chance to shape a high-profile finance function as the group accelerates its transformation.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with deep IFRS and group consolidation expertise.
• Experience in listed, private equity-backed or complex international groups.
• Proven track record building and leading high-performing finance teams.
• Experience with acquisitions and post-acquisition integration.

Responsibilities

• Own group reporting, multi-currency consolidations, statutory accounts and the annual audit.
• Lead a global finance team, applying consistent standards across international operations.
• Drive enhancements in financial controls, governance and balance sheet integrity.
• Lead finance transformation to create a scalable, high-performing function.
• Support acquisitions, from technical accounting to post-acquisition integration and integration work.
