Job summary

Stanton House is partnering with a growing international infrastructure group to recruit a Group Financial Controller. You will lead the Controller Office, overseeing group accounting, consolidation, financial reporting and financial controls across multiple entities, and work with external auditors and advisers.

You will report to the Group CFO, lead a sizeable finance team, drive process improvements, tax planning and ERP enhancements, and support complex transactions, acquisitions and growth

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification with strong technical accounting background.
• Experience leading finance operations, group reporting and financial control.
• Experience in a complex, international and multi-entity business.
• Track record of leading and developing sizeable finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, audit and financial governance.
• Experience improving finance systems, processes and controls, including automation or ERP change.
• Exposure to tax, transaction structuring and complex corporate or investment activity.

Responsibilities

• Own the Group's accounting, consolidation, financial reporting and control framework.
• Oversee month-end and year-end reporting, statutory accounts and external audit.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, compliance and risk management.
• Ensure effective transactional finance and service delivery across the Group.
• Oversee tax compliance and contribute to tax strategy and transaction structuring.
• Drive improvements across finance systems, processes, automation and reporting.
• Support investment activity, acquisitions and other complex transactions.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, advisers and outsourced service providers.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
