Job summary

Trace | Expert Accountancy & Finance Recruitment is assisting a well-established global creative business to appoint a technically strong Group Financial Controller in London. The role oversees group consolidation, statutory reporting and the development of robust financial controls across multi-entity international entities.

You will lead monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting, manage external audits and ensure consistent application of accounting policies.

Qualifications

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a strong technical accounting background.
Experience as Group Financial Controller or similar senior financial control role.
Experience in multi-entity, international group structures.
Strong knowledge of group consolidation and statutory reporting.
Excellent Excel and financial reporting system experience.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting processes with accurate, timely information.
Oversee group consolidation, intercompany reconciliation and elimination entries.
Manage month-end and year-end close procedures maintaining GL integrity.
Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and standards across entities.
Coordinate statutory accounts and external audits across jurisdictions.
Develop and maintain robust financial controls and reporting procedures.
Support implementation and standardisation of finance systems and tools.
