Stanton House is partnering with a well-established international financial services organisation to appoint a Financial Controller for its UK and wider regional operations. The role leads a growing finance team across UK and international locations, delivering high-quality reporting and governance in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, strengthen controls, drive process improvements, and collaborate with senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA preferred).
• Big 4 trained and/or audit background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance team of approximately 10 people across two management layers.
• Directly manage four team leaders covering areas including financial reporting, transactional finance and specialist business control functions.
• Maintain ownership of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance and risk management frameworks are in place.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems and team structures.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
• Oversee finance operations across multiple jurisdictions, with a primary focus on the UK market.
• Mentor and develop a relatively junior team, creating a high-performance and collaborative culture.
• Support ongoing organisational growth and future change initiatives.
