Job summary

Bottomline is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to lead the general ledger and month-end close for our Swiss entity in Geneva, while supporting accounting across the wider EMEA region. You will manage key close activities, balance sheet controls and budgeting for international operations, with exposure to FP&A and business partnering.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in financial accounting and general ledger, ideally international or multi-entity.
• Solid month-end close proficiency including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Experience with audits, statutory reporting and intercompany processes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of general ledger and month-end close for our Swiss entity and support other EMEA entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, payroll, expenses and AP month-end adjustments.
• Lead P&L reviews, balance sheet reconciliations and support statutory audits.
• Oversee cash and banking activities, intercompany accounting and treasury activities.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners to explain financial movements and provide meaningful insights.
